HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Saturday, May 25th, the Havre Eagle Riders will host a Poker Run to benefit the Montana Wounded Warriors. President Heather Sinclair says that this event helps to raise money for the Montana Wounded Warriors, who provide hunting and fishing trips to combat veterans to help them heal.
“We have breakfast and a free will donation at the Tip It Bar. The registration starts at 8:30 to 9:30 and the registrations $25 a hand. And we have different places that we go and stop and we do our poker hands.”
Sinclair is encouraging the community to participate in the event, especially during the dinner and evening events at the Eagles Club in Havre.
“We are offering the public to participate, at least in the dinner and the live and silent auctions, and the games. So if they don’t have hands, they can still participate as a community to help donate for our rides. We have cash prizes, first and second highest hands, and then we have the lowest hand.”
They will have live music by Liquor Down starting around 9 PM that evening. On May 26th, they will hold their 2nd annual Bike Rodeo at the Tip It Bar at 1 PM.
