Havre Eagles Club Holding Toy Drive

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Eagles Club is currently holding their community toy drive.

Candace Dess, Women’s Auxilary President of the Club, says there are drop boxes in place at the following locations:

“The Eagles Club, Old Station Brewery, Ben Franklin’s, IGA, North 40 and Walmart. If people want to look for those, they are already out at all the locations. We’re just asking for donations for new unwrapped toys for a boy or a girl, ages 1-14.”

Boxes will remain at these locations until December 20th, and Dess says they aren’t looking for anything specific.

“We get a lot of little kids toys, a lot of dolls and trucks. We help families with children from ages 1 all the way to 14. So a good variety, it’s not picky. Big or small, everything helps. This year in particular, I think there’s more families that are in need. We just want to be able to help as many kids as we can.”

On December 10th, the Eagle Riders and Eagles Club and Friends will be visiting local businesses to solicit donations of toys or money for the drive.

All toys will go to families in need in the community, and will be distributed before Christmas.
