HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre High School will be closing campus again early next week, as the district contends with another threat of school violence. Superintendent of Schools Andy Carlson says they want to err on the side of caution.
“It’s due to the nature of what was written on the wall. Given the date and, you know, a little uncertainty still, we’re going to just make sure we, you know, have done what we believe we needed to do to be safe at this point and we’re going to carry that out for the remainder of this time.”
Carlson says that this campus closure is not related to the threat found at Sunnyside School Thursday afternoon.
