HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Police Department is requesting the public’s help with an investigation.
Anyone with information concerning the death of 46-year-old Jeremy “JC” Ervin on June 8th, 2021 should reach out to Police Captain Aaron Wittmer at 406-265-4361.
Havre Police say they recently received information that suggested Ervin may have been in an assault at a local bar a few days prior to his death.
Since then, the Department has been looking back into the incident, but at the time, everything pointed to an accident or a medical issue, and they’ve yet to find anything to suggest otherwise.
Wittmer says the medical examiner concluded from the autopsy that the cause of death was blunt force trauma due to an accident.
According to the police log from June 8th, 2021, the Havre Fire Department was provided assistance by the Police Department at 8:27 PM with a medical call on Rich Street West.
