Havre Salvation Army Service Center Reduces Hours Amid Increased Demand

HAVRE, Mont. — The Salvation Army Havre Service Center has temporarily reduced its hours due to depleted funding driven by rising community need.

The office will now operate Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with appointment available by request.

Director Trina Crawford says inflation and stagnant incomes are pushing more residents to seek help.

In fiscal year 2025, the center has already assisted 247 people.

The organization is asking for donations to continue supporting local families.
