
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Police Department says a 17-year-old male was arrested on Friday evening after allegedly shooting a gun while traveling in a motor vehicle.
No one was hurt.
A press release states that they believe the incident occurred in the early morning of Thursday, August 18th on the 1100 block of 12th Street.
Police say the investigation revealed that a Chevy Pickup with four occupants was traveling westbound when the driver of an eastbound Chevy Sedan fired multiple shots at the occupants and the pickup.
The suspect was arrested for attempted homicide, assault with a weapon and criminal endangerment. He is being held in the Cascade County Juvenile Detention Center and formal charges are pending.
The investigation is ongoing, but Police say the incident appears to have been isolated and there is no threat to public safety.
The investigation included interviews, locating and seizing vehicles, applying for search warrants, and gathering evidence.
