The Havre tennis teams went to Lewistown for an additional meet on Saturday. Here are some notable results:
The boys’ doubles teams continued their good start to the season as the pairings of Reid Kato and Callen Stoner (8-6) and Carter Spangler with Mason Kinsella (8-5) picked up victories. Jackson Headdress was a singles winner for the Blue Ponies twice, defeating his Fergus counterparts, (8-6) and (8-3). Max Spangler played singles and won, (8-3), while Vance Burr also won in singles, (8-1).
For the girls’, singles winners included Mackenzie Hanson (8-2) and Kylie Greenwood, (8-3).
It’ll be a busy week for the Havre tennis teams as they’ll be in Great Falls on Tuesday afternoon to face Great Falls and CMR High. Later in the week will see a road trip to Glendive to participate in the Dawson County Invite on Friday and Saturday.
