(NMB) There will be plenty of baseball in town this Thursday through Sunday as Havre Hosts the 10U and 12U Cal Ripken State Tournaments. The 10U will feature 7 teams, while the 12U will have 8 teams. The 10U Havre team is coached by Garrett Hanson and Patch Wirtzberger.Tom Lewis, Dustin Kinsella and Brad Walton will lead the 12U squad. Games will be played at Elks Park, Lions and the Softball complex South of town. Games get underway Thursday at 11:30am at Elks and 2pm at the Softball Complex. Results from Thursday afternoon include Bozeman beating out Miles City, 14-2, and Belgrade over Big Muddy, 6-3. Championship games are scheduled for Sunday beginning at 10am. The tournament is a double elimination bracket with the State Champs in each division advancing to the regional tournament in Kenewick, Washington.
