The Havre volleyball team came off of two matches this past weekend. At home, they swept Browning. On the road, the Blue Ponies swept East Helena.
Now, Havre will play the opposite type of schedule for this weekend, when they are on the road first in Dawson County and then back home to take on Hardin.
Head coach Cassie Krueger said the team has to have the right mindset to take on both opponents, with a strong emphasis on Bulldogs of Hardin as they will be one of the best teams that the Blue Ponies will face all season long.
“Dawson County is a scrappy team, so we just need to make sure that we bring our game,” Krueger said. “Hardin is going to be one of the best teams that we see this year, in my opinion.”
“We just need to be capable of playing our game all the way around from serving to defense to offense,” Krueger continued.
Again, the Blue Ponies will be in Glendive to take on the Dawson County Red Devils on Friday, followed by a home match against the Hardin Bulldogs on Saturday. C-Squad action gets going at 1pm, followed by JV at 2:30pm and then Varsity at 4pm.
