The Havre volleyball team will be taking on Dawson County at home followed by Billings Central on the road to close out their week.
Friday’s match with Dawson County will be the final time that the Blue Ponies will be home. It will be senior night as well. Head coach Cassie Krueger looks ahead to the match.
“The key to beating them is going to be having a consistent offense and running everything that we’ve been practicing,” Krueger said. “The defense, the blocking, everything has to work all the way through to the back row.”
The rest of the season, Havre will be on the road. The first test will come against Billings Central, who split a series with the Blue Ponies back in August during the Fergus tournament. Krueger analyzes the keys for her team to come away victorious on Saturday.
“We just need to make sure that we are communicating and focusing on our side of the net,” Krueger said. “We need to make sure our defense is there and also run a very smooth and sneaky offense.”
The schedule breakdown for this weekend’s Havre volleyball matches is at home for senior night on Friday with a 5pm start against Dawson County followed by a road trip to Billings Central on Saturday.
