(HFD) The Havre Fire Department reports they responded to a report of smoke coming out of the first floor of an apartment complex late last week.
A crew arrived and entered the building to find smoke and the occupants of an apartment still inside, where they’d extinguished the fire just prior to the fire department arriving.
HFD checked for hot spots and made sure no hazards remained on the scene.
Four patients were assessed for smoke inhalation, but all four reportedly refused transport to the hospital.
