Hi-Line Girls Basketball Players Featured in State-Wide Showcase This Weekend

The Treasure State Classic wrapped up its three day weekend with a girls’ basketball showcase on the campus on Montana State-Billings. This event was promoting Montana seniors who will be going to play college basketball next season, but was also open to juniors who are in the middle of their recruiting process.

Notable players who competed were Havre’s Tierra Parker as part of Class ‘A’ Central, Chinook’s Alexus Seymour and Hannah Schoen as part of team ‘B’ North, Chester-Joplin-Inverness’ Jayla Ramberg as part of Class ‘C’ North, and Malta’s Neva Jacobsen and Denvyr Tuss as part of Class ‘B’ West. Coaches who were there to help kick start the campaign were North Country’s Amber Erickson, Lockwood’s Rob Tedlund, Choteau’s Matt Cornelius, Lewistown’s Dani Phillips, and East Helena’s Carson Bender.

This was the first of the high basketball showcases this offseason. Next week will be the Hi-Line Invitational on the campus of MSU-Northern. The Montana Elite Invitational will be holding its third annual showcase this Memorial Day weekend. There will also be a chance to be selected for the Montana-Wyoming All Star Basketball Midland Roundtable, which will take place in the middle of June.
