Hi-Line Veterans Helping Veterans Event Set for Thursday

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The fourth annual Hi-Line Veterans Helping Veterans Stand-Down is set for this Thursday from 9 am – 3 pm at the District 4 HRDC building.

This event is a collaboration between many local service organizations, and offers free services to veterans, says Scott Prindiville, Quartermaster for VFW Post 497.

“So we have haircuts, we have flu shots and health screenings from the health department, HRDC has a variety of their programs out, and of course the Elks will be there, they offer some veterans scholarship stuff.”

Other service organizations that will be at the event include Bullhook Community Health Center, Veterans Administration and Havre Job Service

There will also be a free lunch featuring soup, sandwiches, pop and water for veterans.
