(Havre) The Hill County Board of Commissioners held their weekly business meeting on July 18th.
This meeting had notably few things on the agenda.
The meeting saw a request for approval by the business N8V (pronounced Native) in Box Elder to operate as a dispensary. The commission sent their letter of approval but noted that Hill County does not require any applications or approval for operations of businesses, and the license to dispense marijuana is issued by the state.
The commission also went over a couple of items involving hires and terminations of employment with the county.
The board then approved 13 claims and adjourned.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 25th.
