Hill County Commissioners Meeting – 2/20/2025

(Havre – By Kyle Leeds) On Thursday, the board of Hill County Commissioners met for their weekly meeting.

The meeting began by approving an Intercap Loan for the Hill County Sheriff’s office in Fiscal Year 2025.

Commissioners also passed two agreements, one was a final draw down in the amount of $9,000 for the Beaver Creek Dam Technical narrative. The second was an agreement with Bannack Group in the amount of $7,500 per month to assist Hill County Parks raise the remaining funds needed for the construction of the new lodge in Beaver Creek Park.

Kyndra Hall the CEO of Bullhook Community Health Center was reappointed to a three year term to the Hill County Health Board by the Commissioners.

A public hearing has been scheduled for Thursday March 6th in the Commissioners office at 9:45 am for the purpose of establishing business hours for 2025, the second public meeting will be held on Friday February 28th at 8:30am in the Commissioners office to discuss abandoning a county road in Kremlin on 3rd avenue and the 3rd was announcing that they’ll accept sealed bids for new road graders starting March 4th.

There will be no Hill County Commissioners next week, as they will be attending the Montana Association of Counties Mid-Winter meeting in Helena.
