(Havre) The Hill County Board of Commissioners met today for their weekly business meeting, different from their usual Thursday meeting time due to Independence Day.
The City of Havre’s Director of Public works Trevor Mork was there to discuss the budding agreement between the county and the city to facilitate grant money for the upgrade of the Havre Water Treatment Plant’s computer management system; the systems failure was no small part of the discussion during the boil water advisory in the city earlier this year.
The Montana Department of Environmental Quality offers this grants specifically to rural countys for energy efficiency.
The next commissioners meeting is scheduled for July 11th.
