Hill County Park Board Seeking Applicants for Grazing and Haying Committee

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Park Board is seeking applications for an open position on the Grazing and Haying Committee.

According to a press release, this committee makes recommendations to the Park Board about grazing and haying conditions in the park, allotment of grazing and haying to be allowed in each pasture, grazing and haying policies and procedures and emergency conditions relating to grazing and haying.

Applicants must be a rancher and have a genuine interest in Hill County Parks. The board will consider experience, background, knowledge, interest, training, current employment, time availability and expertise. To apply, fill out an application and submit it to the Park Office or the Commissioner’s Office located in the Hill County Courthouse.

The Park Board will make a recommendation to the Hill County Commissioners who then appoint a Grazing and Haying Committee Member for a two-year term.

Applications must be returned by Jan. 15, 2020.
