
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County reported 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, had 45 people meet the recovery criteria, and received notice of three new COVID-related deaths.
Nine of the new cases were found through contact tracing, while seven have unknown exposures.
Hill County has now reported 1,146 total COVID-19 cases. 228 are active, 889 have recovered and 29 have died.
Current hospitalizations are being reviewed.
Sweet Memorial
On Monday afternoon, Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook provided an update on the COVID-19 outbreak that was first reported in late October.
Since last Wednesday, the Nursing Home has reported two new COVID-related deaths,
Sweet Memorial Nursing Home has had 28 residents and 17 staff test positive for COVID-19. 15 of the residents and 13 of the staff members are considered recovered. Eight residents have suffered COVID-related deaths.
Liberty County
Liberty County reported five new COVID-19 cases on Monday.
The cases are:
- 2 males in thier teens
- 1 female in their 40’s
- 1 male in their 60’s
- 1 male in their 70’s
Liberty County Public Health says “almost all close contacts have been notified and are in quarantine. If you feel you have been missed in contact tracing please reach out to public health for all questions or concerns.”
Chester-Joplin-Inverness School District has shifted to virtual learning for 7th-12th grades until December 1st due to a confirmed COVID-19 case in the Junior/Senior High.
Liberty County has now reported 50 total COVID-19 cases. 12 are active and there has been one COVID-related death.
