Hysham Woman Killed in Crash

MUSSELSHELL COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – A 43-year-old woman from Hysham was killed and two other Montanans were injured in a rollover crash near Roundup on Thursday morning.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 9:50 AM on an icy US 87 at mile marker 11, when a northbound 2000 Ford Taurus being driven by a 37-year-old man from Brady slid off the roadway, overturned, rolled, and came to rest facing east.

The front right passenger, the Hysham woman, was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered fatal injuries after being partially ejected.

The driver and the other passenger, a 25-year-old woman from Great Falls, sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital. The Brady man was not wearing a seatbelt, while the Great Falls woman was.
