Havre, MT – Lights basketball officially started their season last week with a 59-56 loss on a neutral court to St Thomas University.
Coach Huse said that his team learned a lot from that game on both sides of the ball.
The Lights have two games this weekend at University of Providence in Great Falls vs Simpson University and Bushnell University. Huse said that this early in the season, his team has a lot to work on.
“You know everything right now from fundamental stuff to five-on-five stuff. The transition game, the half-court game both offensively and defensively. So far this week in we have been about half reflecting on us and half preparing for our first game.” Coach Huse said.
The Lights will play at 1p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Friday against Simpson University and Saturday vs Bushnell University.
