Havre, MT – Lights football heads to Madison South Dakota for the last game of the 2025 regular season.
MSU-Northern will enter the game with a 1-9 record while Dakota State is receiving votes in the national top 25 poll and are sitting with a 7-2 record. This will be the lights last chance to improve upon last season’s 1-8 final record.
It will be a tough matchup for the Lights as Dakota State is 4-0 at home and the lights have not won on the road this season.
This will be Freshman quarterback Ethan Maroni’s third start of the season. Maroni took the starting job after Lights starter Kendall O’Neal went out with Injery at the end of the first quarter against Rocky Mountain College.
Northern is looking to win their second game of the year, something the program has not done in over nine years.
