Lights Wrestling Qualifies 5 for National Tournament

(NMB) The Cascade Conference Wrestling Tournament concluded on Saturday in Prescott, Arizona. The MSU Northern Lights scored 85 points and finished in sixth place overall. Menlo College won the Team Championship. Martin Wilkie at 149 pounds and NaKoda Siegel at 174 Pounds both finished in second place for the Lights. Carl Hansen, 197 pounds was defeated 13-4 in the semifinals and battled back to take 3rd place. Rylin Burns finished in fifth place at 174 pounds and Devin Crawford was sixth at 165 pounds. Wilkie, Crawford, Siegel, Burns and Hansen all earned automatic bids to the NAIA National Wrestling Championships March 3rd and 4th in Wichita, Kansas.
