Havre, MT – MSU-Northern Lights Wrestling is 0-2 in duels but are looking to turn their momentum around when they split up the team this Saturday.
On December 6 this weekend, Lights wrestling will be heading to both the Conner-Oppenheim open in Nebraska and the battle of the Rockies in great falls. Head coach of the Lights, Tyson Thieverage, explains how and why the team is going to both tournaments.
“We’re talking the majority of the guys to the Conner-Oppenheim open at Doane University. We’ve got a few guys that are going to travel down () and wrestle unattached, get them some mat time, just kind of splitting up. We’re going to go where the rankings matter and hopefully our guy’s plow through a tournament. We’re excited to get on the road again.”
Both wrestling tournaments will be all day events.
