(NMB)The Havre Blue Pony Football team and Head Coach Jake Eldridge will hold their football camp Monday and Tuesday July 17 and 18th. The Camp will be broken down into two session each day. 1st through 8th grade in the morning and 6 through 8th grade in the afternoon. Coach Eldridge says the camp is great way for the current Ponies to give back.
“It’s a great chance for kids to get out and just enjoy the game of football. And for our kids, the current Blue Ponies, they’re going to come down and they’re going to help run the camp. So, it’s great for the little kids to be able to see those guys and for those guys to be able to give back you know, to the little ones. Not too long ago they were in those same shoes.“-Eldridge
There are a couple of ways to get signed up. You can download a form from the Blue Pony Football Facebook page or form can be found in the Robins administration building. Coach Eldridge says the camp will focus and fundamentals with some competition built in too.
“We’re going to do work on skill development and some competing stuff and we’ll do some schemes especially for the older guys, get into some more X’s and O’s but just fundamentals of camp and competing and having some fun with the game of football.”-Eldridge
Again, that Little Blue Pony Football Camp will be held on Monday and Tuesday July 17th and 18th.
