(Helena) The Montana Department of Agriculture announced 25 total agriculture businesses will each receive a piece of $915,000 through the Montana Department of Agriculture’s Growth Through Agriculture (GTA) program.
Some local recipients include Montana Premium Processing Co-Op in Havre, Flocking Good Farms in Big Sandy, Farmer Meets Foodie in Havre, and Treasure State Sires in Havre.
Each Havre business will receive $50,000 in grant funds, and Flocking Good Farms will receive $25,000. Treasure State Sires will also receive $100,000 in loan funds.
