Man Facing Pending Felonies Over November 2021 Incident

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre man that was arrested early Wednesday morning is facing two pending felonies for an alleged altercation that occurred in November of 2021.

Havre Police Captain Aaron Wittmer says Desmond Thomas Ferguson, 28, faces pending felonies of criminal endangerment and criminal mischief, as well as misdemeanor reckless driving. Ferguson, who had outstanding misdemeanor court warrants, was stopped at about 12:44 AM Wednesday morning in Havre after a traffic stop was conducted

Wittmer says on November 17th 2021 at about 12:48 AM, law enforcement was dispatched to an incident by the Quality Inn. The victim was dropping his sister off and Ferguson, who apparently had been in a previous relationship with the sister, rammed into the victim’s vehicle.

The victim tried to leave but Ferguson rammed into the vehicle again, rendering it inoperable. Surveillance footage was later obtained, and damage to the vehicle exceeded $4,000.

The victim suffered head and neck pain but did not go to the hospital.
