McClelland Ferry Closed Until Repairs are Made

CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – The Stafford-McClelland Ferry in Blaine County will not be running until further notice. The Blaine County Road Department says that the drive cable tower was damaged earlier this year due to ice jams.

Once repairs are made, they will reopen McClelland Ferry on the Missouri River to the public.

The Ferry connects Blaine and Fergus Counties near Winifred. For more information, call the Blaine County Road Department at 357-2840.
