(Big Sandy) – The Montana Famers Union is brining their Farmers Share event to Pearsons Pumpkin Patch and Hay Maze outside of Big Sandy on Saturday. Raynee Gullickson Hi-Line Membership Ambassador for the Montana Farmers Union explains what food item attendees will be able to puchase at a discounted rate.
“During this event, patch goers can purchase a cheeseburger for just seventy-five cents, and this represents approximately what Montana framers and ranchers receive for their share of beef and add on in a typical eight-to-nine-dollar cheeseburger.”
The MFU says another reason for these Farmers Share events across the state is to start a dialogue about agriculture in Montana.
