MINERAL COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol says that a 35-year-old Missoula woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Mineral County.
The crash occurred at 10:15 AM at mile marker 76 of I-90, when a westbound 2005 Honda Pilot being driven by the Missoula woman left the side of the roadway, entered the median and rolled onto the eastbound lanes.
The vehicle came to rest upside down in the center of the eastbound lanes.
The woman, who was wearing a seatbelt, was declared dead at the scene. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The road was bare and dry. Alcohol, drugs or excessive speed are not suspected factors at this time.
