(Havre) – The Havre Fire Department reports they were dispatched on Monday around 11:30am for a garage fire in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Before arriving at the scene the firemen were alerted that there were flames and a large amount of smoke coming from the garage.
When engine 1 arrived, they reported that the garage had flames through the windows and visible smoke showing. Engine 1 was able to gain access to the garage and quickly knock the fire down. A second engine responded to the fire to check for any fire extension in the building. The Havre Fire department says that the aggressive and fast fire attack stopped the fire’s spread and contained it to front of the garage.
There were no occupants in the garage and no injuries occurred at the scene.
