HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 163 new COVID-19 cases and six new deaths across the state in their Monday morning update, the first update to the dashboard since Friday morning.
Five of the newly reported deaths are from Lincoln County and one is from Yellowstone County. Three occurred in February and three occurred in March.
The known active COVID case count in the state continues to decline, and is now at 1,061, while there are 87 active COVID-related hospitalizations.
Missoula County led the way in newly reported cases with 34, followed by Yellowstone with 24.
The percentage of eligible Montanans considered fully immunized is at 55 percent, with over 1.41 million vaccine doses administered.
