Key players from the Hi-Line Area have received the invitation for the prestigious basketball matches. Such as Hallie Neibauer from Chinook, Amaya Jarvis from Havre for the Girls and Tracen Jilot from Box Elder and Kash Keller from Havre for the Boys along with many other players.

New Media Broadcasters sat down with the former Oklahoma City Thunder and founder Josh Huestis, who spoke about what he hopes to accomplish in the first year of this event:

It’s been a dream of mine to be able to start this event. Just growing up in Montana and knowing how difficult it was to for me to be recruited as a Montana athlete, I’ve always been excited about having the opportunity to put something like this on. To help these great Montana basketball players and give them a better chance to play at the next level.” – Huestis

The Invitational will have different challenge events, five on five scrimmages, and more to show case the skills of these upcoming players. Huestis goes into more detail about what we can expect from the event:

We’ll start with skill work, drills, things like that to work on fundamentals. In the afternoon there will competitions. We’ve got really good competition and players for that. The final day will follow the same format, giving the college scouts the ability to see these kids.” – Huestis

The final championship day of the Invitational will be open to the public, you can purchase your tickets to watch some of Montana’s best youth basketball talent at The Josh Huestis Foundation.com
