Montana Innovators

HELENA – In conjunction with the Montana Congressional delegation, the Montana 250th Commission is participating in a year-long initiative entitled “Montana Innovators,” featuring monthly spotlights on Montanans of note – both current day and historical figures – worthy of recognition as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

U.S. Senator Steve Daines honored Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Lewis Johnson, who was injured in the line of duty in 2023. U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy recognized all fallen Montana peace officers. U.S. Representative Ryan Zinke honored Gallatin County Sheriff Dan Springer and U.S. Representative Troy Downing recognized Supervisory Agent Andrew Yedinak, (Yed-Knock) who leads Montana’s Human Trafficking Unit within the Division of Criminal Investigation.
