Montana Reports Over 1,300 COVID Cases Wednesday

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – DPHHS reported 1,372 new COVID-19 cases across Montana in their daily update on Wednesday morning, along with 11 new COVID-related deaths.

The active case count has dropped below the record levels seen last week but is still above 14,000, while there are 340 active COVID-related hospitalizations.

Five counties reported over 100 new cases of the virus on Wednesday, led by Missoula with 297, Yellowstone with 213, and Gallatin with 185.

54 percent of eligible Montanans are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with over 1.38 million doses administered.
