
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has announced that hunting of all mountain lions in hunting district 690, which includes portions of Hill and Blaine Counties, will close at one-half hour after sunset on Monday, December 20th.
The order halting the hunt came shortly after FWP officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota of eight for the combined districts had been met.
The hunting of female mountain lions in Hunting District 690 concluded on December 8th after the harvest quota of two was met.
The hunting of mountain lions in the rest of Region 6 ended on December 7th after the harvest quota of four was reached.
