Havre, MT – This weekend in Missoula the Montana State University Northern Rodeo teams will mount up one last time in the 2026 regular season.
Head coach Doug Kellenberger knows his team has to stay the course and continue their excellent performances.
“The Mindset for this one is to keep it how we’ve been doing. We’re not going to change anything. We’re not going to change anything; we’re going to keep it simple. We’re going to make the run on the animal that was drawn for us, sometimes you don’t get the best draw but we’re going to go ahead and make the runs the best runs we can make on that animal, and we’ll see where the chips fall at the end of the weekend.” coach Kellenberger said.
Skylights rodeo as team is still sitting in second place in the region after jumping Montana Western at the Havre rodeo. The Lights Talen Cummings and Chance Threeirons have the opportunity to finish the regular season at the top of the Big Sky Region standings in team roping.
The final rodeo will take place Friday and Saturday May 1, 2.
