Missoula, MT – Saturday night in Missoula three MSU-Northern Rodeo athletes claimed a championship to end the regular season and punch their ticket to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR).
On the men’s side it was Chance ThreeIrons and Talan Cummings holding onto their first-place spot in the Big Sky Region standings to claim the championship in team roping.
On the Skylights it was Georgia Orahood continue her strong spring performances to win the region barrel racing. The Women’s team as whole took second place in region. Georgia Orahood, Brooklin Baukol, and Kenda Statham all finished in the top ten of the breakaway roping.
Lights and Skylights rodeo now shifts their focus to the CNFR in Casper Wyoming.
