MSU-Northern Set to Award 463 Degrees on Saturday

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Saturday, May 4th marks the end of another academic year at Montana State University-Northern with the graduation of the 2019 class. A press release says that Matthew Daniel Cronin will be the 2019 Commencement speaker. Cronin is the CEO and co-owner of C&B Operations, LLC, a John Deere agricultural dealership business headquartered in Gettysburg, South Dakota.

The Registrar’s office is reporting that 281 students will be eligible to receive a total of 463 degrees. There are 116 women, 165 men, 37 certificates, 208 Associate’s degrees, 202 Bachelor’s degrees, and 16 Master’s degrees. These numbers will not be final until spring semester final exams are over, just prior to commencement.

The ceremony is free and open to the public. It’s suggested that people arrive early and use the north central entrance to the gymnasium. Doors will open at 9 AM and the processional will begin at 10 AM. There will be a reception to follow under the tent in the campus courtyard.
