(Helena) The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has opened applications for pollution prevention and reduction projects.
The grant funds are available to nonprofit or government organizations, and are applicable for on-the-ground, capacity building, or education outreach.
The funding is provided by a combination of federal and state funds to the tune of around 1 million dollars. Between 10 and 40 percent of total projects costs will need to be matched with non-federal funds.
Application deadlines are 5pm on Friday, April 5th.
