BIG SANDY, Mont. (NMB) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester on Thursday announced $864,500 in Department of Health and Human Services grants for twelve of Montana’s community health centers in recognition of their excellence and hard work in increasing health care quality and access for Montanans across the state.
A press release says these health centers are being awarded funding by the Health Resources and Services Administration for having made significant quality improvements last year as well as for being some of the highest performing centers nationwide.
Recipients of the Quality Improvement Awards includes Bullhook Community Health Center in Havre, which received over $70,000. Glacier Community Health Center in Cut Bank received nearly $35,000, and Marias Healthcare Services in Shelby received over $109,000.
