Kent Kupfner was chosen as vice president of the Montana Wheat and Barley Committee (MWBC), taking the role Wednesday, November 16.
Chairwoman of the MWBC Denise Conover expressed her excitement of Kupfner taking the poistion, noting his more than 30 years of industry knowledge.
Before joining the MWBC, Kupfner was a wheat merchandiser, managing grain assets for many major companies across the nation. His last 25 years in that aspect was spent in Montana. Kupfner stated that in entering a new chapter of his career, his committed effort on behalf of the wheat and barley producers of Montana will continue to be a top priorty.
