North Dakota Couple Fined, Loses Hunting Privileges for Illegal Deer Harvest in Montana

MILES CITY, Mont. — A North Dakota couple pleaded guilty to illegally harvesting a trophy mule deer buck in southeast Montana.

Justin and Robin Wiseman admitted to using bait and a trail camera near Plevna to attract game, and to tagging a deer Robin shot without a license.

Both were fined $300, sentenced to suspended jail terms, and ordered to pay $8,000 in restitution.

They also lost hunting, fishing, and trapping privileges for two years.
