Northern Alumni Foundation to Host 90th Celebration Gala

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana State University-Northern Alumni Foundation is getting set to host their 90th Celebration Gala on February 15 at the Diesel Technology Center.

Alumni Foundation Executive Director Shantel Cronk says this event will feature silent auctions, food and drinks and live music.

“When you walk into the venue, there’s going to be an acoustic guitar that’s hosted by Joey Todd. At the other end of the building, we’ll have Mike Bober on saxophone. Then it flows into the Lucky Valentines, a duo out of Fort Benton. Then the Milk River Bank will do a fun country mix, followed by Hi-line Jazz.”

Cronk says they are hoping to raise $50,000 at the Gala, with all proceeds benefiting student scholarships.

“One is called the We Love Northern Scholarship. That is a really great general fund scholarship that gives financial aid to those in need. The second scholarship we are focusing on, which is being helped BNSF Railways, is our Focus On Access Scholarship.”
