HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana State University-Northern Foundation has announced that the family of the late Scot Strauser has created a new scholarship in his memory.
Strauser was a lifelong Havre resident that passed away in March.
He was a long-time rodeo veteran, and the new scholarship will support Northern students who are part of the Rodeo Club.
The scholarship was set up by Strauser’s niece Rylee, who, along with Scot’s son Sandy, felt this was the best way to honor his memory.
The Northern Rodeo Team will be organizing a fundraiser in the future to help contribute to this scholarship.
