Havre, MT – Tuesday night the Northstars dominated the Lethbridge Lakers on the road claiming victory in game one 18-4 and securing game two 16-3.
In game one the Northstars built their lead in the top of the third with six runs. Havre ended the game with seven runs in the top of the sixth and gave up 0 runs.
Conner Essert, Brayden McLain and Archer Sawdey all secured two hits at the plate with Sawdey leading the team in RBIs with four. Micheal Thompson pitched all six innings for Havre and threw five strike outs.
In game two the Northstars got hot early scoring three runs in the first inning, five runs in the second, and eight runs in the third. Madax Keller was given the win after pitching 3.2 innings giving up three runs and throwing four strike outs.
At the plate for the Havre Tyson Brandon went four for four with two RBIs. Archer Sawdey secured four hits for one RBI and while Kody Standiford and Brayden McLain led the team in RBIs with 3 each.
Next Havre will play at the Tri County Cardinals Today, Wednesday July 15, with first pitch at 5:30p.m.
