The Havre Northstars American Legion baseball team took to Legion Field on Saturday for a doubleheader and came away with a convincing sweep of the Lethbridge Miners.
In the opener, Havre overcame an early two run deficit, as they scored 12 runs over the final four innings of a 13-3 win.
Eli Cloninger was outstanding at the plate, posting 3 hits and three RBIs, while Kale Reno pitched a five inning complete game and surrendered just one earned run.
In the finale, the Northstars got out to an early 6-0 lead and cruised to a 12-2 win.
Theron Peterson had 3 hits and 3 RBIs for Havre, while Trenton Maloughney pitched a complete six inning game, allowing just two runs.
Havre is now on a four game winning streak. Next up, a doubleheader on Tuesday at Great Falls Chargers A. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 5 PM.
