NorthWestern Energy Will Not Do PSPS For Thursday

Updating a previous story reported by New Media Broadcasters about NorthWestern Energy. Around 3pm on Wednesday, July 24th, the company stated that there will not be a Public Safety Power Shutoff for Thursday, July 25th.

A statement from Facebook read, “Based on the assessment of the forecasted conditions, we are confident that a Public Safety Power Shutoff is not imminent for any of our Montana customers at this time. As we do through the fire season, we will continue to monitor, analyze, and assess wildfire conditions.”

The whole reason for the monitoring stage of the Public Safety Power Shutoff was to mitigate any more fire disasters, according to Northwestern. For the latest updates, visit NorthwesternEnergy.com/PSPS
