(Havre) -Now through Labor Day are the 100 deadliest days of summer for law enforcement. Havre Police Department Lieutenant Lucas Ames explains why this time of year is called the 100 deadliest days of summer.
“We call it the hundred deadliest days just because there’s more motorists on the road, the school kids are out of school. so, there’s more inexperienced drivers on the road throughout the summer. People are always going on vacations, traveling through town, we have construction going on.”
The Havre Police Department also reminds motorist to always use your seatbelt.
