(Havre) – After the recent rains in Havre, a city ordinance comes into focus. City of Havre Public Works Director Trevor Mork explains.
“The nuisance weed public nuisance notice and that is the city code 9-6-1 and that discusses what is a nuisance weed and that is any grass, weed or other vegetation that is exceeding eight inches. Mow that down, remove all of that vegetation bulk. If not, the property owner will be notified, and they have ten days to remove that vegetation bulk. If not, the property will be subject to a minimum charge of $150.00 dollars if the weeds are removed by the city.”
You can find all ordinances on the City of Havre Website.
