The Bear Paw Marathon is happening on June 6th. Courtney Helmers, prior president of the Havre chamber of commerce, discusses some of the changes being made this year.
“So, this year we did make the decision to try and move the course onto all pavement. So, we will be running on Beaver Creek Highway, secondary highway 234 the whole way and the reason for that decision was feedback from other participants as well as our first aid and safety personnel.”
